The innovative audiovisual project with the title “I am not the Cancer,” will be presented for the first time in Greece in November 28, 2013.
The revolutionary and ground-breaking work of two very prominent British artists, John Wynne and Tim Wainwright, reveals the real life experiences of women with advanced breast cancer and their untold stories by offering a short, but very intimate look at the physical, emotional and practical impact on women living with the disease.
This report, which is part of the European information campaign for advanced breast cancer “Here & Now,” has already been presented in Brussels, Poland and Portugal.
Τhe Oncology pharmaceutical company Novartis with the support of the Hellenic Association of Women with Breast Cancer “Alma Zois,” took the initiative of presenting it for the first time in Greece. There is also going to be an exhibition with the title “Ten Greek Women Artists Listen” where 10 important Greek artists talk about a problem that concerns all women and about a lifetime adventure that carries on.
The exhibition, which will be supervised by Iris Kritikos, is open to the public from Friday, November 29, to Sunday December 1, 2013 at Gazarte, Voutadon 32-34 (Kerameikos station), second floor (11:00 a.m. – 10.00pm). The entrance is free.
