Crisis Hits Greek Red Cross

erythros stavrosThe Greek Red Cross is facing major financial and organizational problems and does not have the resources to even organize fundraisers to help the needy.
The public relations manager of the Greek Red Cross (EES) Andreas Potamianos made this statement in an interview at Neos Kosmos. Potamianos visited Sydney to take part in the World Conference of the Red Cross, held every four years, in order to create the financial program and budget for the next two years.
From the beginning of the economic crisis, the Red Cross tried to promote humanitarian values and set the primary purpose to implement programs, improving the living conditions of vulnerable groups, such as large families and single parent families, unemployed, homeless, and people with disabilities, immigrants or refugees.
