Historic Beach in Cyprus to Become Touristic Resort

According to sources, the beach where the Turkish landed, in 1974, and on which some of the most deadly battles of Attila A’ and B’ took place, is about to become a touristic resort.
The Turkish Altınbaş Group rented the beach Pente Mili, in the occupied territory of the Republic of Cyprus, for 49 years. As mentioned in a Turkish newspaper, the Turkish Group rented 20,000 square meters about two weeks ago. It is rumored that the Group will invest 100 million dollars for the construction of hotel facilities.
Altınbaş Group is known to already have business activities in the area, with jewelry, banking and the Alpet company, which also possesses gas stations.
