The Greek public television legacy is once more available via the website hprt-archives.gr.
Thousands of digitized records, with full documentation of the Greek Public Television archive manages to capture the history and evolution of Greece from the late ’60s until today.
Prestigious Greek shows, documentaries, reportages, invaluable sound files from the radio broadcast archive as well as photographs from the ERT Poulidis and Sarrikostas archives are available online for anyone who wishes to visit the website, recording the highlights of modern Greek history.
It also provides access to all the metadata for approximately 450,000 news archive records as well as film, television and radio libraries.
The task of digitizing the archives of the Greek public television was piloted by ERT and 80% co-financed by the European Union.
