Graphic Arts Applications Have a Future in Greece

Cube1Graphic Arts and Applications are booming in Greece, especially during the economic crisis. Many young people decide to get involved in this field, since it is a highly creative, productive and profitable industry.
Recently, an event was hosted at “The Cube Athens” entitled “Graphic Arts Applications.” Alumni from the Technological Educational Institute (TEI) of Athens attended the event and presented their theses for the second time. But this time the audience was not just academic. Many people from the Graphic Arts industry were present!
They were impressed with the final result and the graduates’ ideas, and even found some smart, high quality solutions for their businesses. Among the presentations we saw an animated film, an original logo for a company operating in the field of pastry and a different graphic presentation for a fashion house.
All works were of great interest both in terms of aesthetics and imagination as much as in terms of professionalism in the final product.
We hope to repeat such events, showing the ingenuity and talent of young Greeks in various fields. The event was presented by Lena Liakou, Maria Douni, Penelope Mavromyti and Fotini Paparodopoulou.
