HRADF Approves Lamda Development Project (video)

ellinikon-lamda-developmentSkyscrapers by the waterfront, sport centers and 200 hectares of green are part of the plan presented by the Greek company Lamda Development which was accepted by the HRADF (Hellenic Republic Assets Development Fund).
Lamda Development used a two and a half minute video to present its plans for the reconstruction of the Ellinikon International Airport site.
The video shows a digital image of the region with the completed projects: towering skyscrapers next to the sea, training centers, a kilometer long beach, and 200 hectares of green space which will completely reshape the coastal zone of Ellinikon.
Boat marinas, restaurants, businesses and of course the Metropolitan Park that the company is planning to build in the region, promise to provide recreational space for residents of the surrounding areas and all Athenians.
The digitally made video presents a picture of Athens that is entirely different from what its citizens are used to. One could even say that it made the capital look like Dubai.
On Thursday evening, the HRADF accepted the technical proposal of the company.
