Victim Gives Shocking Testimony About Vicious Fascist Attack

schoolA 17-year-old student who was stabbed, allegedly by Golden Dawn supporters, while walking to school in January 2013 in Palaio Faliro, Athens, gave his shocking statement to Greek authorities on Tuesday.
“The person who attacked me was wearing a hoodie, but his face was not covered. I never saw the knife. The doctor told me he was sure that the object I was attacked with was sharp,” said the young victim.
He continued: “I didn’t hear steps behind me because I was listening to music. I felt someone hold me still. He grabbed me by the shoulders. He hit me on the right temple and nose. I turned my head and saw that it was A. That is when he struck me close to the carotid artery, while his knife also cut off my nose which was left hanging. He did not tell me a word. I cried for help and that is when he ran. Many people saw the incident but no one wanted to come forward because they are too afraid.”
“Before this incident, I had spoken with A’s girlfriend who was also my friend. I saw swastikas and crosses drawn on her desk and talked to her about it, telling her she could get in trouble, but she wouldn’t listen. Someone wrote ANTIFA on her desk. She told me to erase it but I didn’t. I don’t know if this was the reason, but I hadn’t received any threats until then. Two months later I was attacked,” he said.
The young student said that the attack was premeditated and that it occurred somewhere they wouldn’t be seen from the schoolyard.
The attack against the student is one of the files in the caseload before judges I. Klapa and Maria Dimitropoulou in their investigation into alleged illegal actions by Golden Dawn.
