Greek police are taking severe measures in order to deal with the final match of the Greek Football Cup between the teams of PAOK and Panathinaikos (PAO), which will take place this Saturday at 8pm at the OAKA Stadium in Athens.
During meetings that were held over the last days, the new leadership of the Hellenic Police has come up with unprecedented measures in order to avoid any encounters between fans of both teams and to avoid any unwanted incidents. Meanwhile, there will be three zones of control at the stadium, so people will not be able to pass through without a ticket, or if they are carrying dangerous objects.
Furthermore, another measure that was decided by the Greek police is to prohibit all gatherings in the city center, from Saturday morning until the same night, while fans of both teams will be led to OAKA Stadium by a police escort.
