Famous Greek Actor Arrested for Debts to IKA

vourosThe famous Greek actor and director of the National Theater of Northern Greece, Yannis Vouros, was arrested for debts to the social insurance fund, IKA.
Vouros was lead before the public prosecutor of Thessaloniki and then released because his debt was under regulation.
In detail, the actor was arrested for not submitting 250,510.55 euros to IKA on behalf of the National Theater of Northern Greece for the period of November 1, 2013 to November 30, 2013.
Furthermore, the president and vice president of the private Dunant Hospital in Athens were also arrested for outstanding debt to IKA.
A file was formed against them for repeatedly failing to pay their social insurance to IKA. They will both be lead before the first instance prosecutor of Athens
Their debt amounted to 1,536,814.64 euros for the time period of June 1 to August 31, 2013.
