The cold-blooded murder of a 31 year-old man in a restaurant in Korydallos, western Athens, Greece, early on Wednesday morning has shocked the country.
The victim was sitting at a table with his back to the street. The culprit calmly walked up to the victim’s table and shot him three times in the head. Witnesses immediately called the police and an ambulance. The victim was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. The Greek authorities are now looking for the murderer, who managed to run away from the scene.
According to the police the victim was convicted for involvement in criminal circuits and he was released just three months ago. He was obliged to present himself to a police station twice a month. It is thought the culprit was member of a rival gang.
