Christodoulos Xeros Spotted in Attica, Escapes Arrest

Greek police issued an announcement saying that the article which first appeared in the Greek newspaper “To Ethnos” contains false information.
According to the newspaper, Greek police officers performed a random check on a car that was moving suspiciously in the area of Paleo Faliro, in Athens, Greece last week, bringing them a step closer to the arrest of wanted terrorist Christodoulos Xeros.
Although he was caught on camera, the police were unable to restrain and arrest him. The photos that are in the hands of the Special Anti-Terrorist Unit show an almost unrecognizable Christodoulos Xeros — he has gained a significant amount of weight, his hair is longer and he now has a beard.
The fact that the Xeros was spotted in the area of Paleo Faliro is not a coincidence, according to Greek police. Two terrorist attacks have taken place in the area, and police consider Xeros to be the prime suspect in one of them.
On February 1, a car full of grenades, AK-47s, bullets and various fire mechanisms were spotted in Paleo Faliro. Meanwhile, another car used during a terrorist attack at the New Democracy offices was also found in that area.
Christodoulos Xeros’ last appearance was the first after his escape from prison when he recorded a threatening video message in which he said he would resume his terrorist activities. The terrorist had been on leave from Korydallos prison and never returned. He has been wanted ever since and Greek police have issued a 4,000,000 euro bounty on him.
