Earthquake North of Andros Felt Across Attica

seismosAn earthquake of magnitude 4.7 on the Richter scale has occurred 44 km under sea-level north from the Greek island of Andros today, June 27.
The quake hit at 7:14 pm local time at a depth of 30 km. According to the official announcement of the Greek Institute of Geodynamics in Athens, the epicenter of the earthquake was located 125 km east of Athens between the islands of Andros and Syros.
The vibration was also felt in Attica, but until now no damages or injuries have been reported.
