Panathinaikos lost 80-67 at the Athens Olympic Stadium (OAKA) to Barcelona on Friday during a meaningless game for the first group stage of the Euroleague. However, the game will be remembered for a bomb threat that scared the teams at half-time.
The Olympic Stadium in Athens (OAKA) was evacuated after the first half because somebody called a Greek newspaper and said that that a bomb will explode in the stadium. A few minutes before 11pm, authorities received a phone call informing them that there was a bomb at the stadium.
OAKA was evacuated at half time and the game resumed about 30 minutes later for the second half. Barcelona won the game 80-67 against the Greek basketball team.
