Man Kills Sister and Brother-in-Law Near Athens

greek-policeTwo siblings fighting over inheritance issues were involved in a crime that took place today in Korydallos, in Piraeus, Greece. The incident which occurred today, February 10 early in the morning resulted in the murder of two people.
The tragic incident occurred in the stairwell of the building where the perpetrator, a 50-year-old man, allegedly murdered his 45-year-old sister and her husband.
According to Greek police, the murder occurred at 8 a.m., when the 45-year-old was preparing to leave for work. Her brother burst into the house and started shooting at the woman and her husband. Neighbors reported that they had been hearing shouting all night.
The 50-year-old man, left the gun on the table after shooting the couple, left the apartment and disappeared.
When Greek authorities arrived at the scene of the crime they found that the woman had passed away inside the apartment, while her husband’s body was found near the building entrance. In fact, the man had managed to call the authorities just before he died.
Greek police officers arrived at the scene immediately but unfortunately there was nothing they could do for the two victims. Police are now searching for the perpetrator who managed to flee the crime scene.
