BBC Explains Grexit in Tasty Greek Food Terms [Video]

gyros_c01Those imaginative folks at BBC business news found a rather tasty way to explain what Greece’s exit from the euro zone would mean by using gyros, or kebab, as they call it in Britain.
In the three-minute video BBC reporters have prepared, you can learn what Grexit is while helping viewers build an appetite.
The new Greek government is determined not to leave the common currency bloc, yet insists that a number of austerity measures required by the existing bailout program should be written off the list.
Greece’s international lenders, on the other hand, press Greece to continue with the bailout program and honor the agreements of the previous government, thereby making a standoff with European partners inevitable. The conflict may lead Greece out of the euro zone.
Dougal Shaw of BBC has decided to explain what a Grexit would mean for the country by creating a video-clip using one of the most well-known Greek delicacies as a means.
Bon appetit!
