Greek Government Rates Low for Economy, Migration, Crime

dimoskopisi_7Greek citizens recently rated the government’s performance in key areas, as well as the negotiations with the country’s partners as part of a survey conducted by the University of Macedonia.
In particular, the survey — conducted for the Greek television broadcaster SKAI — noted that the government was rated low by people in Greece, especially in regards to issues such as the economy, immigration and crime. However, Greeks appear satisfied with the government’s current foreign policies.
Furthermore, 68% of Greek citizens appear in favor of the police’s intervention at the University Rectory, while the percentage of SYRIZA voters currently stands at 46.5%.
Citizens also had a positive feeling about the Greek Prime Minister’s trip to Moscow, while they believe that Alexis’ Tsipras’ government is determined to implement all of its pre-election commitments.
Meanwhile, they still consider that the government’s negotiations strategy is correct, however, the rates appear to be declining compared to previous surveys.
However, Alexis Tsipras is still the government’s strongest card, since his popularity remains at a high percentage.
