Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras had phone contact with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Friday. According to government sources, the two top official are discussing Tsipras’ presence to the International Economic Forum in St. Petersburg on June 18-20 as well as energy and business cooperation issues.
The talks with the Russian president come hours before the Greek prime minister is due to address the country’s parliament about the EU proposal.
