The Greek proposals are currently under the European Commission, ECB and IMF microscope, stated “To Potami” leader Stavros Theodorakis after his meeting with European Commission President Jean-Claude JunckerĀ in BrusselsĀ on Friday.
He also noted that his first impression is that Europeans believe the Greek proposal is on the right direction.
Theodorakis underlined the importance of the growth package proposed within the context of the new deal, saying that Juncker, who is Greece’s friend, is working toward this direction.
He also saidĀ that he hopes the government will insist for a European solution until the end and reassured Juncker that “To Potami” MPsĀ will vote the agreement as well as, as he said, the majority of the Greek lawmakers.
