On Monday morning, Greek authorities found the body of a 28-year-old man in the Corinth Canal, the 21 meter wide sea passage that separates the Peloponnese from Mainland Greece.
According to the coast guard, the deceased man did not show signs that he was alive when he was first found and he was officially announced dead at the hospital. Authorities have yet to release his identity or any further information. They are currently waiting on the autopsy results to rule on how he died.
