Greek Unemployment Fell to 25% in May‏

unemployment The Greek unemployment rate fell to 25% of the workforce in May, from 25.6% in April and 27% in May 2014, Hellenic Statistical Authority said on Thursday.
The statistics service, in a report, said that the number of employed people totaled 3,604,102 in May, the number of unemployed people totaled 1,200,981 and the financially non-active population was 3,286,476.
The number of employed people grew 81,832 in May, up 2.3% from May 2014 and up 1.8% from April 2015. The number of unemployed people fell 7.6% from May 2014 and 1.3% from April 2015.
