Greek Finance Ministry Denies That Korean Adviser Has Received Payment from State

oikonomikon_533_355Greece’s Finance Ministry rejected on Sunday a newspaper report alleging Korean adviser Glenn Kim has been paid a 125,000-euro fee from the state for services provided during the country’s negotiations with creditors.
“The company for which Mr. Glenn Kim is working for has not received a single euro from the Greek state until today, let alone the 125,000 euros per month, as [newspaper] To Vima reported on Sunday,” Finance Ministry sources said.
They said the Greek government will use experts to find the best possible agreement and Kim has many years of experience in negotiations, having in fact worked in Greece before.
“His presence on the government’s side is not causing any problems and the payment to the company he works for will be made through the appropriate legal procedures,” the same sources said.
