SYRIZA Central Committee Secretary General Tassos Koronakis submitted his resignation on Monday.
Koronakis resigned during the meeting of the SYRIZA Political Secretariat. He stated that he will remain a party member and will continue to serve.
According to sources, Koronakis will soon release a written statement on his resignation.
The party Political Secretariat convened to discuss the SYRIZA election strategy and, according to information, three committees will be formed; one for the election program, one for the list of candidates and one for communication.
Present at the meeting were cabinet members Yiannis Dragasakis, Nikos Pappas, Alekos Flabouraris, Nikos Voutsis, Nikos Filis, Panos Skourletis, Dimitris Vitsas and Aristides Baltas.
