Greek PM to Inaugurate National Archaeological Museum Exhibition

Vassiliki-ThanouA temporary exhibition exploring the city of Athens as seen by European travelers between the 17th and 19th century will be inaugurated at the National Archaeological Museum on September 7 by caretaker Greek Prime Minister Vassiliki Thanou.

According to a Culture Ministry announcement, the exhibition will be a forerunner of events celebrating the 150th anniversary since the museum’s foundation. It will offer a mental “ramble” through the monuments of Athens in that historic period, as seen by European travellers who, inspired by the history of Classical Athens, came to visit its ruins during those centuries and recorded their impressions in sketches, paintings and descriptive prose.

  1. Your Excellency, Mrs. Thanou. you are not worth saying anything to you other then the word “Traitor”. You are the High Court Judge and you could not prosecute any corrupt politician nor revoke their immunity when you have the right to do so. How could you let this happen to the country and to us??? How can you let politicians to roam free when people have committed suicide for not fault of their own??? How can you not take action when all this is happening to us the poor people who have no more means to provide for our selves and families. You have committed a crime by not safeguard our rights by allowing these 300 pigs to loot our country’s wealth.
