Greek Islands Voted Best in the World by Conde Nast

greek islands - fallConde Nast Traveler, a distinguished United States based magazine on tourism, revealed  that the Greek islands received the magazine’s Readers Travel Award for the World’s Best Islands for 2015.

Despite capital controls and political instability in the country, the Greek islands reclaimed the premier position they last held in the magazine in 2011. In 2013 and 2014 the Greek islands held second place.

In late July, Conde Nast Traveler had urged its readers to help Greece through this tough period by visiting the country.

“What Greece needs now, more than ever, are tourism dollars — so don’t cancel your trip just yet” the magazine had written.
