Greek Woman Shows Exceptional Compassion to Refugees

A Greek woman named Ariadni showed exceptional compassion and solidarity when she took a family of refugees to her home.
Ariadni decided to go to Victoria Square in central Athens where hundreds of refugees camp out on the lawn, tents and benches while waiting for their documents to be processed. Her first mission was to bring food and clothes to those in need.
However, as Ariadni told Mega television on Monday, she was shocked when she saw the squalid living conditions of hundreds of refugees and migrants at the square.
This is what she wrote in facebook:
“Today I went to Victoria Square with clothes and food and gave them to the people they really need it. What I saw was shocking. Men, women, babies in squalid conditions, soaked from the rain, asking for some food.
I handed out the clothes I had brought and invited a family to my home to take a hot bath and eat a plate of homemade food. How can I call myself a Christian after all if I don’t open my home to people in need.
I’m not posting this to hear applaud. I do it to notify the people they can help that they can go out there and do good. Even a warm bath that everyone takes for granted, for these people is a luxury.
We are all human and we must help those in need in any way we can … Share this and you might inspire a lot of people to do the same …
Thank you
