Volkswagen: 9,119 Vehicles With 'Tweaked' Software Found in Greece

vwVolkswagen AG informed Greek car owners about the actions that the company will take in order to repair cars with ‘tweaked’ software. The official announcement noted that ‘tweaked’ vehicles have already been located.
According to the same notice, the vehicles remain safe and technically suitable for use. Out of all the Volkswagen passenger vehicles that are currently registered in Greece, a total of 6,362 vehicles had been tweaked, along with 1,875 Audi vehicles and 882 Volkswagen commercial vehicles.
Over the next few days the official car company websites (www.audi.gr and www.volkswagen.gr) will provide information on any development, in order to help car owners determine if their vehicle needs to be repaired.
In October, Volkswagen and subsidiaries will present a viable technical solution to the competent authorities and vehicle owners will be able to make an appointment in order to implement the changes.
