The heating oil price will be around 85 cents per liter at the beginning of the winter season, on October 15, provided that the special consumption tax remains stable at last year’s levels (23 cents per litre), according to petrol station owners.
Therefore, the price of heating oil is expected to be significantly lower than last year (1.0-1.1 euros per litre). The drop is due to the decline in global oil prices.
