“Through [the mobile app] Winks, you can visit the Facebook and Instagram profiles, as well as get the Snapchat usernames of people you can actually see around and check some basic information about them, such as their age and zodiac sign,” the three young innovators Dimos Botsaris, Aris Gkountouras and Pantelis Ieronymakis share the new and innovative element their new creation introduces to the web world.

“Moreover, you can wink to interesting new people who share your interests getting in touch with them directly,” they say, adding: “If you think about it, there are many times in life when you find yourself being intrigued by someone around you. City’s culture usually keeps people away but technology can now change things, as it can work in the opposite direction connecting them with their neighbors.”
The Android application Winks is already available through the Google Play Store, while it is coming soon in App Store.
