Two Ferries with 3,000 Refugees on Board to Dock at Piraeus Port

refugees-piraeusTwo ferries from Mytilene and Chios carrying 3,000 refugees are expected to arrive at Piraeus port on Friday after the Pan-Hellenic Seamen’s Federation (PNO) suspended its strike.

“Tera jet” ferry departed from the port of Mytilene at 8 am with 1,740 refugees on board and “Blue Star Patmos” left at 6 am with 1,400 refugees. Another ferry, “Blue Star 1” carrying 1,430 refugees is expected to leave from Mytilene at 8 pm.

In an effort to decongest the situation at the port of Mytilene, “Champion Jet” ferry will also transfer refugees from Mytilene to Kavala.

  1. And perhaps now local islanders will be able to have supplies etc. & travel where they need to? But that doesn’t seem important these days..

  2. How about transferring Migrants to Izmir instead of Piraeus? That way we, the UN, US and rest of the world will see how our neighbor Turkey’s government responds to the human catastrophe.

  3. Matthew 7:6

“Do not give dogs what is holy, and do not throw your pearls before pigs, lest they trample them underfoot and turn to attack you.

Could this biblical verse be a warning of what is in store for European Christendom at the hands of this “army” of mostly young Muslim men?

A refugee is someone who flees violence, these overwhelmingly Muslim 3rd World foreigners left the safety of Turkey and violated the territorial integrity, sovereignty and immigration laws of Greece, so how can they claim refugee status? They are illegal economic migrants and mostly originate from nations where their Muslim coreligionists have persecuted & ethnically cleansed Christian minorities, such as Iraq, Syria, etc.
