Chocolate Factory to Open in Greece on Saturday

The “Choco Factory and Museum” will open its doors on November 7 and will run until February 21, 2016.
The theme park with educational and recreational content is located at the premises of HELEXPO, in Maroussi, which is in Attica, north of Athens.
Visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy the chocolate waterfalls, fudge mountains, giant truffles, and caramel rivers while participating in chocolate and biscuit workshops.
In his speech the president of ANA-MPA Michalis Psilos stressed that the agency, which completes 110 years of operation, supports this initiative for two reasons: “The first reason is the strategic cooperation of ANA-MPA with TIF-HELEXPO at Thessaloniki’s radio “Praktorio 104.9″ and the other reason is our desire to prove that a public entity can do wonders. We work as a public entity with another public entity and this cooperation proves that public entities can make miracles and can work with private companies on a mutually advantageous basis.”
On his part, the managing director of TIF-Helexpo Kyriakos Pozrikidis underlined that “the national exhibition agency, within the framework of the expansion of its activities, takes initiatives related to the design and the creation of new types of activities on site, combining family entertainment with education and culture. In this context, TIF-HELEXPO started successful operations related to the development and operation of theme parks, such as the unique, both for domestic and for international standards, Chocolate Factory and Museum.”
The President of ANA-MPA also underlined the need to find ways for all children to be able to visit the exhibition for free.
The opening hours are daily from 9 am to 7 pm, Saturday from 11 am to 9 pm and Sunday from 11 am to 7 pm.
Ticket Prices are as follows:
General admission: 7 euros per person
Large families and people with disabilities: 5 euros per person
Family ticket (for 3 or 4 persons): 20 euros
Schools and large organized visits: 5 euros per person.
