Bank of Greece Marks Significant Reduction in Deposits in November

A significant reduction was noticed in business and household deposits in Greece in November 2015.

According to data from the Bank of Greece, the total deposits fell to 120.9 billion euros from 121.1 billion euros in October.

Reuters reported that these are the lowest figures since May of 2003. From December of 2014 until July 2015 deposits have been reduced by 42 billion euros due to the ongoing Greek bailout negotiations and the capital controls.
