President of the Cyprus House of Representatives Yiannakis Omirou and Vice Prime Minister and Defense Minister of Lebanon Samir Mokbel expressed on Tuesday their willingness to further bilateral ties on all levels.
Mokbel, who is on an official visit to Cyprus at the invitation of Defense Minister Christoforos Fokaides, met with Omirou this morning and discussed developments in Cyprus and Lebanon, as well as the refugee crisis.
According to an official announcement, Omirou underlined the importance of cooperation between the two countries in promoting stability and peace in the wider region.
