IN-EDIT Festival returns to Athens! From February 24th until the 28th, the biggest international festival for music documentaries will present the best and most interesting recent music documentaries.
The idea began in 2003 in Barcelona, where for the first time, a festival that showed documentaries for great musicians and sounds was organized, bringing into the spotlight a neglected for the time being genre: music documentaries. Thirteen years later, IN-EDIT grew to become one of the biggest documentary festivals in the world, taking place in more than fifteen cities around the world – from Mexico City to Berlin and from Santiago to Madrid.
IN-EDIT Festival came to Greece in 2014, with a first stop in Thessaloniki. The following year the festival was organized in both Thessaloniki and Athens in two different periods. This year, the festival started its journey from Barcelona and it will make a quick stop in Athens before it travels to Italy and the Netherlands.
Screenings will take place in Cinema “Astor” and they will be followed by a series of activities in the city. Screenings include popular documentaries “Lemmy,” “Amy” and “Cobain: Montage of Heck.”
