A post featuring the picture of a dog went viral on Facebook in Greece over several hours. The photo is showing John (as the dog is named) waiting for his owner outside his apartment building in Koukaki. However, John’s owner had died two days ago.
The photo was posted by a Greek woman on Facebook in order to find a new family for John. The post said “SOS SOS SOS. The dog’s name is John. His owner died and for two days now he is waiting outside his door waiting for him. Please someone help! I just found out that he has no-one and no-one is feeding him. He is at Ag.Nicolas in Koukaki. Please share, do not like”
The photo went instantly viral and according to a new post, John finally found a new home.
