Piraeus Port to be Decongested by Week's End

Refugees Arrive at Piraeus
Piraeus port will be decongested from the bulk of refugees and migrants by the end of the week and it will be emptied by Easter, Alternate Defense Minister Dimitris Vitsas said in an interview with private TV channel Mega on Monday.
“By the end of the week Piraeus will be decongested significantly and we’ll start transferring refugees from Idomeni,” he was quoted as saying.
“There are currently 2,600 empty spots in accommodation centers and another 10,000 are being built, most of which will be ready by next Sunday,” the minister added.
