German newspaper Bild has photoshopped a statue of Socrates holding his head in despair as Greece enters a new crisis similar to the one last spring that brought the country close to a Grexit.
“The Alexis Tsipras government is depending again on the implementation of reforms,” says the comment of Germany’s largest circulation newspaper. “The calm was deceiving. For a few months, all was calm regarding the Greek debt crisis. However, the problem had never gone away. The Alexis Tsipras government, once again, is not implementing the reforms he has agreed on along with his European partners in the summer of 2015, with the Greek government pulling tricks and delaying… Greeks simply can’t do it,” says the caustic commentary.
