Greek main opposition New Democracy spokesman Giorgos Koumoutsakos accused the country’s government on Thursday of “sinking the economy” and “crushing businesses and households” with its policies.
“The government’s incompetence and unreliability is fueling the excessive demands made by the IMF. Because of this, the cost of the failed so-called ‘tough’ negotiation skyrocketed to 5.4 plus 3.6 billion euros,” Koumoutsakos said. “All this is their responsibility. It is Tsipras‘ responsibility.”
