Eurogroup Extraordinary Meeting: Watch Arrivals (video)

The Eurogroup is hosting an extraordinary meeting to discuss the state of play of the macroeconomic adjustment program for Greece following a vote of a new wave of pension and tax reforms voted on by Greek Parliament on Sunday.

Discussions by the eurozone ministers will focus on the sustainability of Greece’s public debt and will also focus on a comprehensive package of policy reforms. Discussions on the first review of Greece’s massive EU-IMF bailout that had been agreed to last July need to be finalized before further financial assistance can be unlocked for Greece.

It is expected that no conclusive decisions on debt relief will be reached on Monday, but the groundwork will be laid for the May 24 meeting.
