Greek Debt Heads to G7 Summit in Tokyo

Greek debt talks are due to take place at the Group of Seven (G7) summit of finance ministers at Tokyo, Japan, from May 18-20. The summit, ahead of the crucial Eurogroup meeting of Eurozone ministers on May 24, will bring together basic players involved in decisions on Greek finances and will include all participants of the General Assembly of the International Monetary Fund.
German Finance Minister Wolfgang Schaeuble, Eurogroup Chief Jeroen Dijsselbloem, International Fund Chief Christine Lagarde, EU Economic and Financial Affairs Minister Pierre Moscovici will participate in the Tokyo talks. Decisions at the G7 will play a key role in decisions to be taken at the Eurogroup conference.
