Greek State Minister Nikos Pappas expressed his content over the outcome of the meetings with US government leadership in Washington while speaking on an ERT public broadcast. “The meetings with the leadership of the US government proved that all sides are aware that the agreement on table is being implemented, an agreement that has started to bear fruit and there should be no delays,” he said.
The State Minister said that the government wants to implement the agreement that will have specific terms and that will make it viable. “I think that the July agreement can and should be met without delay,” he said and expressed optimism that Greece can have an agreement on May 24.
