Although it looked like there was going to be yet another delay, fans of the Greek Football Cup will finally be able to see the much-awaited and much-delayed final between Olympiacos and AEK. It has been reported that in order to push forward with the match, that the Hellenic Football Federation (EPO) gave into pressure from the Deputy Minister of Sports, Stavros Kontonis, by reappointing assistant referees for this game.
Following deliberation between all sides involved, the match is set to take place on Tuesday, May 17, at 8:30 pm, at the OAKA stadium in Athens.
