Katogi Averoff in Metsovo, member of Aria Hotels, is featuring the spring side of Metsovo with events of special interest.
On the weekend of May 28-29, Katogi Averoff is participating in the celebratory event of wineries “Open Doors,” while it supports the athletic events “Ursa Trail” and “The Tracks of the Bear” which will gather athletes from all over Greece and abroad.
“Open Doors” will give visitors the unique opportunity to tour around the Averoff winery but also taste and enjoy wines from the land. On Sunday, May 29th, Metsovo will make an early journey from noon to sunset in the world of wine, with music from the streets of Brazil and New Orleans, in bossa nova, samba, swing and jazz tunes, with a series of performances by Katerina Polemi trio.
In addition, the 4th edition of the “Ursa Trail” and “The Tracks of the Bear” races will take place on Sunday, May 29th, bringing out the natural and cultural wealth of the area. The route goes through some of the historical pathways and monuments of exceptional aesthetic and natural value in the region. The first part of “Ursa Trail” lies east of Arachthos river in the region of Anilio while the second part, which is also the path of the small race, extends west of Arachthos in the area of Metsovo.
