tsipras-putin2Russian President Vladimir Putin arrives on Friday, May 27 for a series of official meetings and a pilgrimage to Mount Athos. Here is the complete schedule of Russia‘s head of state.
3:30-3:45: Arrival of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin and his delegation at Athens International Airport Eleftherios Venizelos (Gate 9, Hall of Officials A) on a special flight.
Informal Reception Ceremony.
The President of the Russian Federation is welcomed by the Greek government by Greece’s National Defense Minister Panagiotis Kammenos.
4:30-4:55: Meeting of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin with President of the Hellenic Republic Prokopis Pavlopoulos.
5:00: Arrival of the President of the Russian Federation, Mr. Putin, at Maximos Mansion.
5: 05-5: 35: Private meeting of President of the Russian Federation, Mr. Putin, with Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras.
5: 35-6: 35: Working Lunch – extended talks between the two delegations.
6: 35-6: 55: Agreements Signed.
6: 55-7: 25: Statements by the President of the Russian Federation, Mr. Putin and Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras to the media.
Departure of the President of the Russian Federation and the accompanying delegation to the Byzantine and Christian Museum, where at 8:05 a reception will take place in the presence of Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras.
After the event, the President of the Russian Federation and the accompanying delegation will leave for hotel “Divani Apollon.”
On Saturday, Vladimir Putin will depart for Thessaloniki with a special flight to the Airport of Thessaloniki “Macedonia.” On Behalf of the Greek Government he will be welcomed by Foreign Minister Nikolaos Kotzias.
The President of the Russian Federation will travel to the port of Tripiti and then will travel by boat to Karyes where an official reception will be held by the President of the Hellenic Republic Prokopis Pavlopoulos.
Then a pilgrimage of the President of the Russian Federation to Mount Athos will follow and the visit will end with an informal departure ceremony at “Macedonia” airport from where Vladimir Putin will depart on a special flight. (8:45)
The departure ceremony for the President of the Russian Federation will be held by Greece’s Alternate Foreign Μinister Ioannis Amanatidis.
