Greece has earned its second and final medal at the 2016 European Championships.
On Sunday, triple-jumper Voula Papachristou took bronze in her event, as Portugal’s Patricia Mamona scored a 14.58 meter jump and Israel’s Hanna Minenko a 14.51 meter jump.
Papachristou completed a 14.47 meter jump to earn her third place medal.
The 27-year-old triple and long-jumper was removed from the Greek Team for the 2012 Olympics following a racist comment on Twitter.
Papachristou’s bronze medal is the second metal that Greece has earned as pole-vaulter Kerterina Stefanidi took gold.
