The ‘Lord of the Rings’ — as sports reporters have dubbed the 2016 Rio Olympics gold medalist — improvised on the rings, getting a standing ovation from delirious fans of the sport.
In a show of athletic camaraderie and fair play, Brazilian silver medal winner Arthur Zanetti was the person who raised Petrounias on the rings. After that, Petrounias mesmerized the crowd with his skills.
