Greek Alternate Migration Minister Yiannis Mouzalas in an interview with Realnews on Sunday announced the transfer of refugees to the mainland to relieve congestion on the islands.
He admitted that there are some NGOs that exploit the situation and pointed out that it would be more efficient to have paid that money to the Greek State.
Mouzalas also expressed concern over the potential for jihadi action and added that there is collaboration with the secret services of European countries as well as other countries to tackle jihadists’ activity before it starts to grow.
