Cars Originally Registered in EU Countries Outside of Greece to Receive Reduced Road Tax

road tax cars trafficIf you have a car that was first registered in an EU country previous to registering it in Greece you will receive a slight reduction in road tax dues, the Finance Ministry circular stated on Thursday.
There are also some other changes on the table for owners of larger cars that are also older models who are also set to receive a reduction yet to be specified.
Road tax, also known as circulation tax, is money that is paid to use a vehicle on a public road in Greece. The tax is calculated according to engine capacity and certain vehicles such as hybrids are subject to some discounts.
