German FinMin: Greece Must Have Privatization Fund Management in Place by Year End

soibleGerman Finance Minister Wolfgang Schaeuble said that Greece must have the management of its privatization fund in place by the end of 2016, Reuters reports.
Schaeuble spoke in the aftermath of Monday’s Eurogroup in Luxembourg, where euro zone finance ministers withheld part of the 2.8-billion-euro loan tranche. However, they gave Greece a positive review on the progress of required reforms.
Other than the privatization fund issue, the German finance minister said that he wants to see a decision regarding a financial transaction tax by the end of the year.
Schaeuble also said that reforms of Basel III rules, aimed at making the banking sector more financially sound by reducing the reliance on internal risk models, must not disadvantage banks, according to Reuters.
