Authorities have reported that a formation of two Turkish fighter jets flew over Greece’s national airspace in the northeastern and central Aegean region four times on Monday.
The fighter jets also entered Athens Flight Information Region once.
The aircrafts were chased off by Greek pilotsĀ and it was reported thatĀ the jets were armed.
These occurrences are the latest in a series of air violations that the Turkish air force has made over the past several months.
