Earthquake Strikes at Kilkis


    A magnitude 4.8 earthquake struck Kilkis, an industrial area in northern Greece at 14:12 (local time) on Thursday. The European Mediterranean Seismological Center, put the quake’s epicenter near Kristoni, 12km northeast of Polykastron. It was at a depth of 10 km.

    There were no reports of injuries or damage, however the BGNES wire service reported that it was felt in southwestern Bulgaria.
